Target group
For staff working in commissioning, service and maintenance, who require
practical know-how on the installation and commissioning of bus systems.
Aims
The seminar provides the basics of digital communication and bus systems
for everyday practical use. Valuable tips will be given on handling bus
systems.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of electronics/electrical engineering and automation
technology.
Contents
This seminar covers all bus systems which can be interfaced to JUMO instruments.
It will be introduced by general information on fieldbus technology.
The course covers:
- the fundamentals of bus systems:
interfaces, interface converters, topologies, access procedures, etc.
- an overview of the bus systems: PROFIBUS,
CANopen, HART and MODbus
- MODbus in detail
- PROFIBUS in detail
- Teleservice:
PC-Anywhere, VNC
- Outlook, Trends:
ETHERNET, new transmission methods
