Analytical measurement techniques in water and wastewater plant

Target group
All company personnel who have daily involvement in electrochemical measurement, and who carry responsibility for project-planning, purchasing, commissioning and service.

Aims
The seminar provides the participants the theoretical fundamentals of measurements. The participants will become familiar with the complete electrode arrangements, using JUMO products. The individual features for selection and use of a particular measurement set-up are also covered.

Basic technical knowledge.

Contents
The most important measurement variables in environmental and process technology include: pH, redox potential, electrolytic conductivity, dissolved oxygen, ozone, hydrogen peroxide concentration, chlorine and chlorine dioxide.
As well as imparting the theoretical fundamentals, the seminar covers design aspects for various areas of application and practical tips for avoiding errors.

The course covers:
  • Fundamentals of the variables indicated
  • Design of an electrode arrangement (from the sensor through the fitting to the transmitter)
  • Application areas
  • practical tips for the user
