Target group
Company personnel who commission and operate these instruments. Engineers and technicians who plan installations with control instruments, and who bear the responsibility for their optimum performance.
Aims
You will learn about the design and method of operation of the controller.
Participants will be able to operate and program the instrument, and to
configure it through the set-up program.
Prerequisites
Fundamentals of control technology Basic knowledge in using PCs and Windows
Contents
The course concentrates on the operation and configuration of the instrument.
The course covers:
- important features of the instrument, and explanation of the various types
- instrument design, display and operating elements
- operation and parameterization in the different levels
- configuration of the instrument through the keypad and set-up program
- program entry, with examples
- adapting the compact controller to various control tasks
- additional functions (maths and logic module etc.) and auto-tuning
- practical exercises and examples
